Disciples for a LIfetime

Partnering with Parents and Families

By the time they leave 5th grade...

we want them to:

  • Love Jesus. Love others.
  • Know how to make wise choices.
  • Know that the Bible is our source of Truth.
  • Know that they can trust God, no matter what.

Sunday Morning

Security

All workers are pre-screened with a background check and follow "Safe-Place" guidelines

Security measures are in place in all our classrooms and all kids are checked in before entering a room

Nursery

Kids under 2 are welcome in the nursery during the 9AM service.

Kids birth - Pre-K are welcome during our 11AM service.

Sunday School

Groups are available 9-10:15am for kids ages 2 yrs. - 5th grade.  New arrivals can register at the Connection Center and we will help you find the right room for your child(ren).

Small Group - Big Group - Small Group format Our K-5th graders. Kids start out in their room and travel to Large Group time for worship and Bible teaching.  They finish the morning in their small groups discussing the lesson and digging deeper.

Parent Rooms

In the back of our Worship Center you'll find the Quiet Corner.  This sound proof room lets you engage in the service, even with a chatty little one!  Private nursing rooms are also here with video feed of the service, a changing table and just quiet!

For young ones that want to be in the service but need their hands full, you can find Busy Bags at the Connection Center.

Special Needs

If your child has special needs and would like to participate in our Sunday School Ministry, please contact Carolyn Kiddy to discuss needs and options.  We have an inclusive ministry and will do our best to work with you and your child.

CrossTraining

When Does CrossTraining Meet?

Thursday nights, 6:15-7:45pm (Cubbies, our 3-4yr olds, gets out at 7:30)

End of September-End of April

What do CrossTraining groups look like?
  • 50% Bible time, Discussion and Prayer
  • 50% Activity time
  • 8-12 kids per group
  • 3 SGLs (Small Group Leaders) per group
Why are small groups good for kids?
  • Small groups create a safe place for kids
  • Small group leaders have the time and ability to invest in the kids and build authentic relationships
  • Leaders can lead with authentic faith, encouraging kids in their spiritual walk also
Will CrossTraining Groups support parents as they disciple their kids?
  • YES!  We only have them for 1.5 hours during the week.  Parents are still the primary disciple-making force in a child's life.
  • Resources will be provided on how to engage kids in conversation about what they are learning
  • SGLs will be building relationships with parents as they drop off and pickup, or even other times as applicable, in order to support the family
  • Parents may be invited to assist occasionally with a group or activity, further plugging them into this faith community
