April Search Update
Search Committee Update
The Search Committee has entered an active season of engagement and discernment as we continue the process of seeking our next Lead Pastor. In recent weeks, we have connected with several individuals through initial conversations coordinated by Chemistry Staffing. These informal meetings have been intentionally designed as “getting to know you” conversations, an opportunity to hear each person’s story, understand their heart for ministry, and begin discerning both personal fit and theological alignment. These conversations serve as a mutual exploration, helping both the committee and each individual seeking the role to determine whether there is a shared sense of calling, connection, and theological agreement.
While these initial conversations have been meaningful, they have not yet resulted in a candidate moving forward in the process. We remain grateful for each interaction and for the opportunity to thoughtfully and prayerfully discern next steps. The committee continues to meet regularly to debrief these conversations, seek clarity, and prepare for what comes next. It’s been a fruitful process as it has helped us refine our process further and has given us some clarity on procedural elements. The experience overall has been encouraging and positive!
Chemistry Staffing is actively reviewing additional applicants, and this ongoing process will continue to bring forward new individuals for consideration. We are encouraged by the care and diligence being taken to ensure alignment with the mission, theology, and unique needs of Kenmore Alliance Church.
As a church family, we remain in a season of trust and dependence on the Lord. We are praying, seeking wise counsel, and resting in His timing as He leads us forward. We invite you to continue praying for the Search Committee, Chemistry Staffing, and both current and future candidates.
A reminder that our “9th Hour Prayer” initiative continues through the end of April. We encourage everyone to join in daily prayer at 3:00 PM as we seek God’s guidance together.
Maintaining open lines of communication remains a priority. If you have questions or would like to connect, please reach out at Search@kenmorealliance.com or stop by the Connection Desk following Sunday services.
