September Search Committee Update
September News Update
The KAC Search Committee has continued to meet almost every week since May, prayerfully seeking God’s direction for our next Lead Pastor. We prayerfully seek discernment, wisdom, patience and unity; and above all, we seek God’s will with every step.
Our official search began in July with a thoughtfully crafted job posting shared across social media and ministry websites. In August, we prayerfully reviewed applications, and by September, we began reaching out and scheduling interviews with potential candidates. During our process, we developed a Church Profile Document which is posted on the employment page and available for the congregation to share out within networks. We hope the posting will continue to be shared widely among our church family and beyond, trusting that God will use these connections to bring us to the man He has already chosen to shepherd us in the days ahead.
Following each service, members of the Search Committee will be available at the Information Desk to answer questions and hear your thoughts. A list of committee members is provided below, and we truly welcome your input. You can also reach out via the Search Committee inbox at search@kenmorealliance.com .
We will continue to share regular updates here, in the Friday Updates emails, and in the monthly handouts at the sanctuary doors. In the meantime, we invite you to join us in prayer as we walk this journey together!
